  • All personal information collected and maintained by DOR is secured against loss, damage, modification, or unauthorized disclosure. DOR uses multiple technological and procedural approaches to protect against unauthorized disclosure of this information pursuant to current law and practice. DOR will not distribute or sell any electronically collected personal information about users to any third party without the user’s written consent. Electronically collected personal information is exempt from requests made under the Public Records Act. These practices and policies are reviewed regularly.

  • DOR does not collect home, business or e-mail addresses, or account information from persons who simply browse our Internet website. DOR collects personal information about individuals through our website only if an individual provides such information to DOR voluntarily through forms or surveys. The information that DOR automatically collects includes the domain name or Internet Protocol address that relates to the machine used to access DOR’s website, the type of browser and operating system used, the date and time when the website is visited, and web pages displayed. DOR uses this information to improve the usability of its website.
