My name is Cynthia Herrera. I am one of the Student Services Coordinators at the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) Bakersfield Southwest Branch Office. I have been with DOR since 2013. I help students with disabilities ages 16-21 obtain work experiences where they gain valuable work skills and prepare them for future independent placement. I also provide Social Security Benefits Counseling for students with disabilities.

I currently serve students with disabilities age 16-21 in the Kern County area in gaining Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) to successfully reach employment goals.

Hello, my name is Erika. I am a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) at the Bakersfield Southwest Branch office. I have been with the DOR since 2013, and work primarily with individuals who are Deaf or have a hearing loss. I work with adults and provide them with vocational rehabilitation services. I am also the Student Services Counselor for high school and college students ages 16-21, who are Deaf or have a hearing loss, who are receiving services with the Kern High School District.
