One in four Californians identify as living with a disability. Chances are, you work with someone who has an apparent or non-apparent disability. Join us for this 90-minute webinar to learn how you can improve performance outcomes at your workplace by creating an inclusive work environment for individuals with disabilities. This course focuses on best practices and lived experiences of persons with disabilities, with practical tools and actions you can start using immediately.
Training for CA State Employees
The following courses are available through the CalLearns, the CalHR Statewide Training Learning Management System. Registration requires a CalLearns account. Review your department's training policy or contact your department's Training Officer for more information.
Accessible Microsoft Office Documents
Are your Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint documents accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities using assistive technology? This course guides you through the seven basic steps for creating accessible content so that a wider, more inclusive, audience can be reached. Explore best practices and discuss common errors in this engaging, interactive class.

Accessible PDF Documents
Is your Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) content accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities using assistive technology? This hands-on virtual course provides instruction on document structure, tools and techniques, and a basic overview of PDF accessibility.
Accessible Microsoft Office Documents is a pre-requisite/knowledge level recommendation for this course.
