YLF - Staff
2025 STAFF MEMBER INFORMATION
Are you looking for great work experience? Be part of a team at the 2025 Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities (YLF)! You will build your communication, organizational and leadership skills.
The YLF is a week-long self-advocacy and leadership development program for students with disabilities who are Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in High School. The 2025 YLF will be held in-person July 14-19, 2025. All YLF staff will be required to complete all mandatory trainings including attending a virtual staff orientation prior to YLF week and traveling to Sacramento on July 13 for a mandatory in-person orientation.
Volunteer Staff stipends may be available pending budget availability. More information will be provided soon.
All YLF staff over the age of 18 will be required to complete a Live Scan and pass the background check requirements from YLF, its contractors and/or partners. This applies to all YLF Volunteer Staff and Contracted Staff. More information is provided in the YLF Background Check Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document below.
If you have questions or need additional information about the application process, please call us at 855-894-3436 or email us at ylf@dor.ca.gov.
Please note: YLF planning partners continue to track health trends and safety guidance within California. All participants may be expected to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19, and to test negatively for COVID-19 in the 24 hours before arriving in Sacramento.
